A little girl can’t hold back tears when she’d been reunited with her missing dog, after almost two months. The emotional reunion was captured on camera and shows the girl overcome with emotion while holding her beloved puppy into her arms, once again!

Max the puppy got lost on the streets of San Antonio, Texas and his family feared that they won’t see him again. For nearly two months, they tried to find him, but unsuccessfully, though. They also alerted the police and spread fliers all over the neighborhood, hoping that someone will find him.

Fortunately, it was Deputy Perez of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, the hero that found tiny Max and brought him back home. Perez got a call about a dog that was wondering on the streets, and soon he arrived at the scene, he recognized Max straight away, as he knew about him. So the deputy immediately called the dog’s family to tell them their puppy is safe.

Max’s family was more than happy to know their tiny dog is alive. but the best reaction came from their two little girls, who couldn’t believe they were holding Max in their arms again. The deputy has later shared online a series of touching photos showing the girls crying tears of joy when reunited with their missing dog.

“Max and his family were reunited and as you can see on the children’s faces, they could not be happier,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook. ”Thank you to Deputy Perez for facilitating this reunion!”
